Brush-busting Cajun Recovered
Back in the late summer of 2007 Tim "Killer" Hooper was coerced into selling the "Old Brush-busting Cajun". Or at least that was the plan. The man took the boat to try it out and was going to either return with the boat or the money. He did neither. After a search with a pistol packing WoJo riding shotgun the man's mother was found but alas even legal means could not recover the missing boat. As we skip forward to present day May 1, 2008. The date of the 2008 Summit, Tim "Killer" Hooper, Tracy "WooWoo" Hooper, and Tom "Catfish the Younger" Hooper decided to go on a boat hunt. The missing boat was located in the backyard of the thieving scoundrels parent's home. After a short discussion, a rifle was produced just in case and we slowly and stealthily backed the truck up to the boat. While Younger and WooWoo started hooking up the boat, Killer kept watch when all of a sudden the thief burst from the home. With total disregard for personal safety, Killer attacked and took the man to the ground with his best Bill Bates imitation. WooWoo sprang to the driver's seat while Younger tried to get the hitch to lock down. Failing to do this, he stood with one foot holding the trailer down on the ball while hooking one foot over the tailgate to steady himself as WooWoo gunned the engine and fishtailed out of the backyard. Killer in the meantime had regained his feet and was running to catch the truck which was barreling down the driveway. He was barely able to leap through the open back door of the truck when the lowlife's mother appeared on the porch with a double-barreled shotgun. Younger had retrieved the rifle from the back of the truck and was shaking it at the woman yelling "Don't do anything stupid old woman" while her son was running along side the boat and trailer trying to extricate some personal items from said boat. We made it out of the boonies without firing a shot. It did take several hours for our adrenalin levels to return to normal. Needless to say, the Old Brush-busting Cajun is back and will never leave again.
